Elisabeth Niekrenz

Elisabeth Niekrenz is an attorney-at-law for national and international data protection law, media law and IT law. She advises companies and authorities on specific issues of platform liability and corporate data protection compliance, prepares data protection impact assessments in the fields of high tech and R&D, and conducts legal proceedings involving data protection.
Elisabeth Niekrenz has been on the Spirit Legal team since 2021. Previously, she worked as a political consultant for a civil rights organisation in Berlin’s net politics. In addition to studying law in Leipzig, she took courses in economics and management science, sociology and political theory. She is involved with the association Digitale Gesellschaft e. V., championing fundamental rights in the digital space.
Elisabeth Niekrenz enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, gardening together and travelling.
