Sabine Fuhrmann advises startups, SME and international companies on setting up, expanding and selling businesses.
She advises on the development of business activities as well as on venture capital and business angel financing. Her main specialisations are commercial and corporate law, corporate finance and labour employment law. Another focus of her expertise is crowdfunding and the legally compliant integration of payment service providers. Sabine Fuhrmann assists her clients in enforcing their interests in court as well as in defending them against unjustified claims.
Since the founding of the law firm Spirit Legal together with Peter Hense in 2011, she has been Managing Partner. Sabine Fuhrmann is at home in classic corporate law: entrepreneurs trust her advice on questions of compliance and liability avoidance in management.
Sabine Fuhrmann focuses on business law: Business owners trust her advice on issues concerning compliance and liability avoidance in management. Before founding the partnership she worked as an inhouse counsel at an IT company, and has also worked for a number of national and international law firms in Leipzig, Berlin and London.
As a tutor, she teaches at the German Hotel Academy (DHA), the Social Impact Lab Leipzig and other educational institutions. Sabine Fuhrmann is an entrepreneur with responsibility and, as chairwoman of Startup Club Leipzig e. V., creates professional framework conditions for start-ups. She has been a member of the board of the Saxony Bar Association since April 2017 and its vice president since April 2019. She successfully completed the theoretical training to become a specialist lawyer for labour law as well as a specialist lawyer for tax law.
In her spare time, Sabine Fuhrmann can be found enjoying Leipzig’s art scene, reading a good book in a café or visiting her home in the Harz region.
